They have made her their new best friend. High praise for a makeup artist. Coralea Courtland, owner of The Beauty Mark has been a professional makeup artist for almost 21 years.
Coralea grew up in the North End of Winnipeg where, at a young age was inspired to play and create different looks with makeup.
Her career started at the age of 15 where she was working behind the Elizabeth Arden cosmetics counter at Eaton’s. She then spent several years with Club Monaco Cosmetics learning exciting tips and techniques for the average woman to use while applying makeup.
Her career has taken her to many fun and interesting places in Canada. She has worked on thousands of faces for weddings, social events, fashion shows and photo shoots. Her favorite faces are the one-on-one lessons with everyday woman. Education is where she is at her best. She loves sharing her techniques to the professional. Her passion for makeup and making others feel great is what inspires this 36 year old entrepreneur to keep going forward with her dreams
